Connection Is Where Healing Begins

My Approach

Psychodynamic, relational-attachment, and art therapy blend together to create a compassionate, insight-focused approach that helps you understand and change patterns that cause pain in relationships, mood, and self-image.

What this approach offers

  • Explore core patterns: We gently trace how early relationships and unconscious beliefs shape how you relate to others, manage emotions, and respond to stress. Understanding these patterns is the first step toward change.

  • Focus on relationships: Therapy centers on how you experience connection—both past attachment wounds and current relational dynamics. We pay attention to how you and others show up, repeat cycles, or avoid intimacy.

  • Use of the therapeutic relationship: The therapist-client relationship becomes a real-time laboratory. We notice interactions as they happen, reflecting back what emerges so you can try new ways of relating in a safe setting.

  • Integrate art and creativity: Art-making (drawing, collage, movement, or other creative expression) provides nonverbal access to feelings, memories, and emotions that are hard to put into words. Creative work can reveal fresh insights, access embodied experience, and make change feel more tangible.

  • Tailored to you: Whether you prefer talking, working with images, or combining both, therapy is adapted to your style and needs. Sessions move at a pace that feels safe and productive for you.
